The Center for Politics and Governance, in a nonpartisan fashion, is the nexus of the theoretical and practical in the teaching of politics and political leadership — we teach not simply how to master the existing system, but how to change it and make it function more effectively to achieve better results.

The Center is committed to develop new approaches to political institutions that will foster creative policymaking. Our areas of focus are the effect of campaign politics on policy, the changing demographics of the American electorate, ethical leadership, and the role of the media and emerging technologies.
