The campus computer center has great resources that you should take advantage of during your time on campus including: 1) REALLY cheap software (e.g.-MS Office and Apple’s Leopard OS for $30 each); 2) Online webspace—gives you the ability to save documents remotely (very useful in case your computer crashes!); 3) Terminal Server Access—log-on to the UT server to access programs such as SAS, STATA, etc; 4) discounts on computer hardware (e.g.—10% off some computer purchases).
