View LBJer: Student ID Cards
Location: FAC Lobby
Web: http://www.utexas.edu/its/idcenter/
The ID Center is located in the Flawn Academic Center (FAC) just slightly north of the Tower. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you arrive in Austin before Orientation Week (even if you do not attend Camp), it would be a very good idea for you to go get your ID card immediately. The wait is long when the undergraduate students arrive, and you’ll be busy that week. Make sure to ask for a proximity number on your card. You will need to give this number to OSAP or Caren Troutman so they can give you access to the LBJ building after hours by swiping your ID.
Please bring a photo ID (driver’s license, passport, or another government-issued ID card). A $10 fee will be charged for each ID card. The ID Center only accepts payment by check, but payments may also be made online through UTDirect under “What I Owe” within 30 days or in cash to the Cashier’s Office in Room 8 in the Main Building (MAI). If you do get your ID before Orientation Week, make sure to keep track of your “What I Owe” balance as accounts past due will result in a block on your ability to register for classes on Friday, August 22nd!
Your student ID is required for entering Sid Richardson Hall 3 (The LBJ School) on the weekends and at night. It is also required to enter the Wasserman Public Affairs Library after 5pm on weekdays and during the weekend.
