The Wasserman Public Affairs Library is a special collection of the University of Texas Libraries, one of the ten largest library systems in North America. The Public Affairs Library collects materials related to policy development, implementation and evaluation; as well as nonprofit management, philanthropy and volunteerism. The library contains government documents received through participation in both the US federal government and Texas state depository programs. The UT Libraries website, www.lib.utexas.edu, provides access to a range of library services and to numerous policy-related databases, journals and books.  Furthermore, the Wasserman Library is home to the LBJ Student Computer Lab, a location you might want to get familiar with during your first few weeks in Austin since it may take a while to get internet access set up in your apartment.
