The Senate of College Councils (SCC) is the GPAC of GPACs. The SCC website can be found here.

The SCC meets on alternate Thursdays at 7pm in the Glenn Maloney room in the basement of the Student Services Building (SSB).

The outline of a typical General Assembly meeting is as follows:

I. Council Roll Call
II. Organizational Announcements
III. Council Announcements
To make an announcement (five-minute limit), speakers must email the Administrative Director 48 hours before the General Assembly Meeting.
IV. Regular Guests
One particularly useful guest is from the UT Library System. The information announced at this point may be of particular relevance to LBJ students and should be conveyed at least to GPAC’s Outreach and Professional Development Subcommittee and then to GPAC as a whole; in some instances, news of general interest should be announced to the LBJ student body.
V. Special Guests
VI. Executive Reports
VII. Unfinished Business
Resolutions introduced during the previous meeting are voted on during this period. Twenty minutes are allowed for debate and amendments. If moved and approved, debate may be extended for an additional five minutes.
This time period is also when funding for various organizations is voted upon.
VIII. New Business
Resolutions are introduced one week before they are voted upon. After introduction, the floor is opened to questions and clarifications for twenty minutes.
At this point, it is often safe to leave the meeting without fear of missing too much.
IX. University Committees
X. Agency Reports
XI. Committee Reports
XII. Open Mike
XIII. Adjourn
